Overview

Owning your dream car is a really great achievement, but that dream could turn into a nightmare if regular car servicing is not done to maintain the car.

It is advised by many car mechanics and experts that you should give your car for servicing every six months or on driving upto the mechanic’s recommended miles by you. The servicing cost differs on whether you own a speciality car, luxury car or a premium brand.

Your car servicing is as important for your car as regular medical checkup is for you. Many car garages or mechanics offer same services at cheaper prices. There are even websites teaching people how to service their car themselves. Is it wise?

If you are a professional or a qualified mechanic then, amazing. In the end, the decision to do it on your own or go cheap is with the car owner. For car owners who care about their car enough to send it to a proper car workshop for car servicing, we are giving you a few tips to keep in mind while visiting any car garage.

What We Did

Company Branding, Responsive Web Design

1. Take an appointment in advance

Going to a car workshop without appointment means having to wait at the reception. In case that many people decide to do walk-ins and they came before you, then you might have to waste a lot of time. There is a better approach, simply book a servicing appointment and reduce your waiting time drastically.

2. Don’t forget the basics

The things that are really important to check during your car servicing are battery, wiper, light and tyre checks, oil and filter change where engine oil is replaced after being drained and top up of essential fluids like windscreen washer fluid, brake fluid and power steering fluid. A good car workshop like ours will do it all.

3. Bring all damages to their notice whether big or small

Before going to a car workshop, make a note of strange noises of any kind and make an attempt to isolate the place of their occurrence and highlight it to the mechanic. In case luck favours you, that damage might be covered under warranty and you will save the money that would have been spent otherwise. If not then spend a small amount for the uncovered damage parts. The best advise to take from will be the mechanics at the car workshop who will fix the damages

4. Sometimes minor damages may warrant no actions

It simply happens. When we have a brand new car, we want to maintain its condition as well as possible, so even a minute scratch appears magnified. But do refer to the car mechanic. Sometimes, removing that scratch on the bumper might mean the entire thing being replaced. Thus it could cost a lot. Best action could be to do nothing. Simply listen to the mechanics to whom you brought your car to.

With consistent and expert car servicing such as that at our car workshop, your beloved car will run a lot longer and keep your family safer on the roads.
